Obituary

Linda Carol Howes (Whitelock)

January 25th, 1973 – October 15th, 2021

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the Howes Family share the news of the passing of our very loved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, and Friend.

Linda was born in Rimbey, Alberta. She ascended the heavens and is now watching over her family.

Linda met the love of her life in grade 8, and they Wed on November 3rd, 1990, and from there the rest is history. She truly loved with every fiber of her being.

Linda made the most out of her life with every passing day.

She was the light in the dark to many. She always had a smile on her face, and a way to brighten your most gloomy day. No matter how she was feeling, she always made time. Her laugh was infectious, as was her person in general

Left in mourning are: Her husband Dale, Sons: Dawson (Charlene) and Travis (Calyshia);

Grandchildren Wyatt and Dominic (Travis) and Sybil (Dawson).

Linda was predeceased by her father Allen Whitelock, and her mother Gloria Booth (Whitelock).

A soft voice once told me:

If I should go tomorrow,

It would never be goodbye,

For I have left my heart with you,

So don’t you ever cry.

The love that’s deep within me,

Shall reach you from the stars,

You’ll feel it from the heavens,

And it will heal all the scars.

Linda was always looking on the bright side of life, and never in the dark, and if you were the one that couldn’t look on the bright side, she would sit beside you in the dark.

There will be no funeral service at this time.

We would like to have time to grieve and have a celebration of life once our family is ready.

Donations in Linda’s name, can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 8 in Rocky Mountain House, AB.

My memories of my sweet cousin are few but always wonderful because we were so close in age.

I will miss our long distance telephone calls. Always a happy singing voice on the other end. Linda has reached many people with her bubbling joy of living, she will be missed by many. Our family remember their time together even though the occasional language barrier caused some confusion, but laughter resolved all that. Our daily Rosary will be for Dale, Travis, Calyshia, the boys Wyatt and Dominic, Dawson, Charlene and Sybil.
Sending our love and Gods Blessings from Italy. Your Auntie Ethel Gerwien (half sister to Allen Whitelock) and Uncle Franco Adessa. Along with our children Tania, Luca, Elia and Livio, there wives and husband along with grandchildren, Marta, Lucia, Benjamin, Pietro, Emma, Louie, Maria, Filippo, Maddalena, Olivia, Lia, Lisa Noah and Camilla.
