- Sep 15, 2021

Memorial services are expected to take place in the late spring, early summer 2022.

Borley, Shirley Marie

We want you here, but someone else wants you too. We love you here and will still love you there. We want to be greedy and selfish, but we know we had to say goodbye.

It is with heavy heart that we say till we see you again to a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin.

Shirley Marie Borley passed away on September 15th, 2021, at the age of 73, well before we were ready to say goodbye. Shirley was loved by all and had a spitfire personality that makes her unforgettable and remembered by all who knew her. Her Grandchildren Bo, Damian and Jayce, as well as the knowledge of a beautiful granddaughter Jaqueline kept her smiling. Shirley loved getting phone calls telling her about their achievements and adventures. Her children Benjamin (Tamara) and Raymond, although grown were one of her greatest achievements. She loved them wholeheartedly as did they to her.

Shirley is predeceased by her husband Clayton Borley, her parents Alvina and Christian Ost and numerous other loved family members.

Memorial services are expected to take place in the late spring, early summer 2022.

Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.

So hard to believe our old friend is gone. Shirley, Anna and I, along with our families had so many good times, shared so much laughter and were always there for each other. We had quite a summer when Shirley, Anna and I went tree planting. Funny, funny times!
RIP my old friend. We'll see you again on the other side.
