Obituary

Brian died suddenly on June 23, 2025. He is the son of Russell and Shirley King. He was born in Drumheller on September 15th, 1965. He attended school in Drumheller, and after their move to Caroline he attended school in Caroline, and Living Faith Christian school at Camp Caroline.
Brian was predeceased by a baby sister in 1960, his dad in 2004 and a brother in 2015. He is remembered by his mother Shirley King and sister Sandra Rowell, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He spent his working years in the oil field. He then lived on his farm in the Caroline area. He enjoyed dirt biking, ski-doing and golf. He was very interested in history and politics. He was concerned about the injustices that occur in our world and was very vocal about them.
He will be missed by his family and many friends.

My condolences to Shirley "got any weiners and chips mom" and Sandra along with the rest of the family.
Bri and I were pals thru our teen and early 20's along with Troy , Roger,Greg,Darrell,Kory, Steve, Jim,Larry,Dale,Randy,and so many others that I could go on forever listing. Theres lotta guys that aren't here anymore that I wont list.
We biked together dirt and street, we had American muscle cars and drove em like they deserved, we hung out, played alotta hockey,boxed, his Dad made us play ball. Gosh he was a great guy...even when we started out separate we ended up at the same place.
Shirley used to get mad when I'd come over and Roost em outta bed at noon... Russell used to laugh when I made fun of em, those are the memories I'll keep.
Anyways I'll quit Rambling on...

Our families have been close for such a long time, it's hard to see the King family go through another loss. To the family - I love you guys! Brian was so wonderful to grow up with and I have many cherished memories; the knuckles games, taking the horses to the rodeo grounds in off- season and learning how to chew Beechnut, the many visits we've had, and Brian's endless wheelies, to name just a few. My heart is with you all. Brian you left us too soon.

Brian you were a friend I will never forget! You were such a good guy and always had time for everyone. Many memories from the ski hill to Hail Lake rodeos and beyond. Never forget our motorcycle rides both dirt and street and the crazy skydiving adventure such good times! Rest in peace brother and we will see you around the fire pit in the next life my friend. Rest in peace buddy you were one of the best!

I remember hanging out with Brian back in the 80’s growing up. He was always a kind and gentle soul, and I always felt safe in our group of friends that he was a part of. If somebody got out of hand, he was right there for us. Here’s to the good ole days of cruising Main Street or sitting around a fire at someone’s home or out at the ski hill. Rest easy friend.

Darrell Brosinsky :

I am sorry to hear of the loss of Brian, he was a long term friend. I remember many carefree moments with Brian tubing down the North SK river - he was a great guy. My condolences to his friends and family.
