Mary Isabelle Beanblossom
March 12, 1934 – February 8, 2024
Mary Isabelle Coulter was born on March 12, 1934 and passed away on the morning of February 8, 2024 at the age of 89.
She looked after the children of neighbours, and other women in her younger years. She did house cleaning for some members of the community, janitorial work with dad at a local Chiropractors office, the Nazarene Church and even the Rocky Airport for a short time. Mary was active with the Spice Ladies when she was able and enjoyed religious programming. Some of the hobbies she enjoyed were crocheting, photography, baking, cooking, camping with Vic and on the rare occasion fishing.
Mary’s later years were spent battling health concerns and needing the help of the community. Great thanks to Dorothy Gray and the staff of the David Thompson wing at the Clearwater Good Samaritan for their wonderful care.
Mary was predeceased by her parents Flora Victoria and William Coulter, multiple brothers and sisters, daughter of 6 months, Ruby Jean, husband Victor at the age of 82, daughter Valerie at the age of 55, and son Leonard at the age of 61.
Mary is survived by son Bruce, sister Elizabeth “Betty” Clarke, grandson Rey and his children Amelia and Finnegan, grandson Joel “Peter”, daughter-in-law Lorna, nieces Dorothy Grey and Rose Harper, ex-son-in-law Austin Todd Grier. As well as many other nieces and nephews from all over Alberta and into the USA.
Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday February 17, 2024 at the Rocky Church of the Nazarene, Rocky Mountain House, AB.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mary’s name may be made to a local charity of the donors’ choice.

Rhonda Hamilton:
The Beanblossom family,
Our families go back many, many years to when my family first moved to “Old Town”. The Beanblossom’s were excellent neighbors and cherished friends for several generations. Myself, I worked with Leonard for many years and remained friends with him for the remainder of his life. Vic was a friend for life, always chatting with me whenever and wherever we met. Your mother was a lovely, shy lady that patiently waited while Vic and I caught up on life. They are all very missed.
Mary worked hard all of her life and has earned the chance to rest. Rest in peace, Mary!
