Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Kenneth Samson Morley, who left us on May 20th, 2024, at 64 years of age.

Kenny, as he was fondly called by family and friends, was born on February 10th, 1960, to Dennis and Violet Morley in Rocky Mountain House, AB. He grew up in Rocky Mountain House, living in the COPE assisted houses where he made many friends who became his family because of his welcoming smile to everyone he met. Kenny’s last eight years were spent in Red Deer Parkland Class enjoying time with meeting new friends along with staff that enjoyed being in his presence as his sense of humour always put a smile on everyone’s face.

Kenny enjoyed bowling, music, and the Calgary Flames hockey team; he always loved receiving gifts that sported the Flames logo. Spending time with his dad being outside with all the horses and dogs that roamed around the family farm brought Kenny a lot of enjoyment.

Kenny is survived by his siblings Rose Fodness; Bill Morley (Gail Tubbs); Linda Jossy (Leeroy); as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who had knew him.
Predeceased by his parents Dennis and Violet Morley; brother Brian Morley; sister and husband Jean and Dwayne Kmyta; sister and husband Shirley and Bobby Kmyta: brother in-law Jim Fodness.
Rest in peace, dear brother. You will always be in our hearts and memories.

A service will be at a later date.

Condolences may be forwarded to www.rockyfuneralhome.ca.

Condolences

Colleen (Roselle) Benedictson:

Very sorry to hear this sad news. I have fond memories of Kenny, going back to about age 5 and up, out at the Morleys with my parents. While the adults visited over coffee, we would often be outside in the yard playing. Always with that genuine smile. Years later when I happened to see Kenny in town, there was always discussion about years past; those memories will always be dear to my heart. My sincere condolences to the Morley family.

Wes Bott :

Ken Meston :

My condolences to the Morley Family with the loss of Kenny. Kenny was one of my very first friends when we were little boys, we would play together at Riverview Store so many years ago. Fond memories still linger in my mind of times spent with the Morleys. RIP Kenny

Rhonda Hamilton:

I was saddened to hear that Kenny has passed. I have fond memories of playing with Kenny while our Mothers visited. In later years, Kenny lived in our neighborhood and he dropped in to say hello whenever he walked by. I’m sure he will be missed by all that knew him.

Helen Northcott Fink:

Remembering Kenny, usually had a big smile. Condolences to the family he was loved.

Terry and Sylvia Nile:
