Abraham - Chelsie Novalina Bithbithan "Mouse"

Born on February 26, 1999 in Canmore, Alberta - Deceased June 5, 2022 in Sunchild.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, wife, Auntie, and niece, Chelsie Novalina Abraham, who was called home by our Creator on June 5, 2022 at the age of 23 years old.

Chelsie was a fiercely independent, self-assured, fearless, young woman who had so many interests and things she loved to do in this life. She had a keen eye for style and design, which was exhibited in the beautiful dresses she made, artistic photographs she loved to take, composition and detail in her drawing, beading, and animation, as well as in the beautiful way she adorned herself. She was a unique and beautiful person inside and out. She loved to celebrate life and enjoy the Creator's gift of land in hiking, walking, swimming, and adventuring, through forests, mountains, city streets, valleys, rivers, waterfalls, and lakes. As a Pisces she loved water. She loved the rain, and the way the forest looked and smelled after the rainfall. Her love of music, especially metal was felt by all who knew her. She loved to rock out. But she loved all kinds of music, from pow wow to emo, hip hop to country, and like the few people she held close, she looked for feeling, truth, story, and melody in the music she held dear. She impacted so many people and was cherished by those who love her. She is unforgettable. She loved to sing and let herself free her spirit through song. She loved to shed her infectious laughter and in your face attitude wherever she went. She was a hilarious person with an incredible sense of humour that always had a joke or perspective to make people laugh. She was always present and helpful in Sundance preparation and ceremony with her family as well as feasts, and other community gatherings. Her love of her family was close to her heart, and she loved fiercely and unapologetically. She had an immense love of cats as well, which was evidence by the 21 cats she had at one time. She loved to write her own thoughts into poems and expression. She also loved to read novels, crime non fiction, and of course her favorite, anime. Otafest and other anime events were her jam as well. Hungry for new experience and finding herself, she loved travelling. Always active, she loved basketball, volleyball, and biking around. She was also introduced to skateboarding and liked the new skills she learned. Her love of the darker parts of life was shown in her avid interest in horror movies and docu-crime shows. Never afraid to raise an eyebrow by being herself, she will be eternally missed as a woman who demanded reaction. She loved motorcycles and riding open highways, and as such, we see her riding away with her unforgettable, giggly, bubbly, smile and laugh which we will all remember as shining and unmistakably hers. We love you mouse, you're one in a trillion and the world will be darker without you. Peace and blessings on your journey forward. Till we meet again smiling in the Creators’ arms.
