Obituary

Scott, Judith May
1941 - 2020
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Judith ‘Judy’ May Scott on February 29, 2020 surrounded by family. Judy was 78 years old.
Judy was born November 6, 1941 to Edith and Stewart Forsyth in Saskatoon. Stewart, Edith, Judy and Donald made their way to Rocky Mountain House in 1946 and started farming just south of Rocky on the “5 Mile” Corner.
Judy met future husband Ronald Scott in 1958 and married in 1962. Judy and Ron raised their 3 kids Carson, Craig, and Rhonda in the Rocky Mountain House area.
Judy started her early work career at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. She took time off to raise children and later went back to work at the Rocky Feed Store (FeedRite).
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Ron; her sons: Carson (Jennifer), Craig (Cathy); Daughter Rhonda (David); Grandchildren: Megan, Jamie, Kyra, Maddison, Braden, and Sarah. Judy is also survived by her brother Donald (Gail), special lifelong friends Dorthy and Bernie Isbister and numerous nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her Mother and Father.
The family would like to thank Dr. Carike Dowling and all the dedicated Palliative staff at the Rocky Hospital who continually showed compassion and provided outstanding care to Judy and her family during her time in care.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel of the Rocky Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:30PM.
Memorial donations may be made in Judy‘s name to the Alberta Cancer Society or to the Rocky Mountain House Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
