Harris, Rodney 'Rod' Thomas
1946 - 2020
On May 24th at 6 am Rodney Thomas Harris passed away peacefully in his sleep at Rocky Mountain House Health Care Center. Rodney was a loving father of his children Dwayne, Dale and Deanna Harris who were by his side.
Rod was a caring strong family man who enjoyed being around his great grandchildren. In his pass time, he loved to fish and have coffee with his friends. Years before he got sick he lived in the Crowsnest pass with his son Dwayne and daughter in law Tammy where he met a lot of great people he was proud to call a friend.
Rod was blessed to have three grandchildren Tyrel Hewitt, Shantana Hewitt and Ryan Hewitt and his great grandchildren: Jessica, Liam, Ronan, Lincoln, Harper and Hadley. Rod was predeceased by his wife Arlene of 45 years, his mother and father and his 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Our father, grandfather and great grandfather will be deeply missed but forever loved. Now you have been reunited with your one true love and may you both spread your wings and fly high together we love you.

Memories of your smile and your chuckles. Our last meeting was one to remember. along side was your sister marlene .theres never enough Time uncle rod .fly with the angles in heaven and give mom a hug from me .
Although in poor health lately, I will remember Rod as my Harris cousin nearest to me in age in his happier days in retirement. Time spent with his brother Gerry and wife Rochelle at their home in Baynes lake and earlier with my father Leslie Grantham when we met on the road, were fun times.I was so pleased to see Rod and Dale last year in Rocky Mountain house. Kind thoughts and love to his family, Clare.
