Edward was born to Nan and Rob Dann on September 27, 1945, at Rocky Mountain House. Growing up on the farm north of Leslieville, he attended Leafland and Blueberry Valley country schools before heading to Leslieville and on to David Thompson High School.
Ed met Nadine Nelson, living in numerous places around Alberta and BC; where he worked as a welder by trade before settling in the Rocky Mountain House area. They enjoyed camping with family and friends in the West Country; especially the Nordegg area.
He was predeceased by his parents Nan and Rob; his sister Shirley (Wayne) Forsberg; and his daughter Jean.
He is survived by the love of his life Nadine; daughters Barb (Darcy) McDondgha, Stacey (Ian) Link and son Garth (Linda) Nelson; 7 grandkids, 7 great grandkids; and sister Pat (Danny) Stewart; and many numerous nieces and nephews.

So sorry to see this notice. Ed and Nadine were a great couple and spent a few years entertaining with my Dad and Mildred. They took care of anything they needed while they enjoyed their time at the Beaver Pond Campground and made the occasional trek into Nordegg for water and a meal. We are forever grateful for their friendship over the years. Condolences to the entire family; thinking of you all at this especially difficult time.
