William (Bill) Duncan
June 4, 1961, to December 30, 2022
A loyal friend and kind giving heart. Bill loved his home, his friends, his shop and his kitty cats.
A common and welcoming meeting place for friends from near and afar to stop in for a visit around a firepit- everyone in his community knew this about Bill.
Such an organized man, very deliberate and private. His home was his happy place. He had a laugh so contagious, that once Bill started his giggle, one couldn’t help but join in.
In days gone by, he had a huge garden, always had preserves on the shelf to give away. Always partook in the annual hunting seasons and opened his shop and facilities to his friends to process the harvest to take home. Local fishing trips with friends to Cow Lake were always a high-light for Bill.
His working years started with Cliff Gardner, who remained a lifelong friend. Silver Oilfield Construction, Quinn and Gulf for his oilfield service days. He went back to school for small engine mechanic and worked for a few years out of his shop. These skills took him onto Pine Hills Golf Course, Pidherney Trucking and Foothills Tank Rentals, where he ended his working career.
He loved jumping into his side by side and heading west to the trails and woodland searching for firewood and taking in the beauty of wildlife. The occasional stop to visit friends along the way was not uncommon. He held a special place in his heart for his neighbors’.
His health turned in the past few years and gradually overtook his ability to enjoy the simple things in life on his acreage.
He crossed the bridge to eternal life knowing he was surrounded with love. Many friends that have gone before him will be waiting to bring him home.
God Bless you Billie Duncan – you will be forever missed and never forgotten. Rest in peace dear friend.

Dave Lodewyk:

I didn’t know Bill well, but I did some work on his place quite a few years back and when I’d run into him every few years he always greeted me with a friendly smile and a ‘hello’, he was definitely one of the good ones. Rest east Bill
