Wendy von Hollen:
I am so sorry to hear of Aaron’s passing. I taught Aaron way back when he was in grade two at Rocky Elementary School. He continued to come back and help out at the school as welll as at ROAR where I also volunteered. I will miss his sweet smile and great sense of humour. Rest in peace Aaron.
Anna Bertagnolli, Rocky Museum:
The museum staff was very saddened to hear of Aaron's passing. Up until recently he came to the museum every week and helped with some chores. He had a great sense of humour and took a keen interest in various items throughout the gallery and would ask lots of questions. At the end of every visit he would have the song from 'Cheers' played on the player piano. Rest in peace Aaron and we will miss your visits.
Jacqueline Hazelaar, grade 3 teacher, Rocky Elementary School:
My heartfelt condolences to Aaron’s family. I have many fond memories of Aaron, who faithfully came to my classroom for many years to lend a helping hand. He loved to come in and tease, play 7-Up with the kids, write Christmas greeting cards to every child in the room, and high-five each one as he handed them out. One year, he even surprised my class with a fancy Christmas tree cake! His weekly visits became something we all looked forward to. He will be missed.
Ingrid Saunders:
My Condolences to Aaron’s family. Even though I did not know Aaron personally, I will miss seeing him around town and at our agency. I know that God has prepared a special place for Aaron where he will forever rest in peace.
Tim Bowman, Ecole Rocky Elementary principal:
We are deeply saddened to hear of Aaron's passing. Aaron brightened our lives at Ecole Rocky Elementary as a community volunteer on many Thursdays. He always shared a great sense of humour (his favourite joke was that we asked him to work too hard.) We liked when he told us stories of visiting his brothers. A favourite memory of Aaron was the day he finished decorating the Christmas Tree. . . a class of students came to give Aaron a round of applause to thank him for his kindness. Our condolences to Aaron's family and all who knew him.
Nadja Neukom :
My condolences to family and friends.
May Aaron rest in Peace.
I will miss seeing you around town!
