Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Florence Hazel Wacher announce her sudden passing on September 25, 2024.
Florence was born April 29, 1944, to Mildred and Ensio Kujala. The youngest of three children, she was a sister to Doreen and Gerald.
The family lived in the Hespero area. Florence married Eldon Wacher on April 1st, 1965. Florence had a lifelong career with the C.I.B.C. in Eckville and Pincher Creek.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Maria Kujala, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Eldon in 2007. Her parents Mildred in 1997 and Ensio in 1998. Her brother, Gerald in 2008 and her sister Doreen Shippelt in 2023. Brother-in-law Rudolph Shippelt in 1999, niece Nola Shippelt in 2018, great nephew Kelly Smith in 2022, and niece Rita Shippelt in 2024.
As per Florence’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
