A Celebration of Gordon’s life will be held at the Chapel of the Rocky Funeral Home on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 1 pm with a come & go social to follow until 4 pm.
A private family interment will be at the family plot within Garth Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made in Gordon’s name to Stars Air Ambulance.Special thanks to Dr. Joanne Mundell and the amazing nursing staffs of Rocky & Red Deer for their care during Gordon’s various health events.

Gordon Fisher, 83, of Rocky Mountain House, AB passed away suddenly on
August 8 in Red Deer Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Gordon was the second son born west of Rocky Mountain House on the
“Josh Place” on June 28, 1936 to Bill & Edna Fisher (Brierley).
He first met Laureen Polnau in 1959. They were married in Rocky
Mountain House on February 11, 1961.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 58 ½ years, Laureen Fisher.
His children: Joanne Fisher, Lee Fisher (Michelle), Brenda Nicolay
(Stan) and his grandchildren Mackenzie & Kennedy Fisher and Cody &
Family, ranching, horses, volunteering, rodeo and coffee time defined his life.
A Celebration of Gordon’s life will be held at the Chapel of the Rocky Funeral Home on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 1 pm with a come & go social to follow until 4 pm. Cremation has been entrusted to Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House, AB.
