Obituary

Andrew (Andy) Gerald Larson passed away April 17, 2024, surrounded by family at Bentley Care Home.

Andy was born in North Battleford, SK on February 18, 1957, to Leonard & Geraldine Larson.

Andy spent much of his life working for Quinn Contracting.
Andy was a prolific artist who was skilled at painting, sketching, pastels and particularly carving. If he wasn’t making art, his free time was spent outdoors with his dogs.
Andy met his wife Marlys Anderson in spring of 1978. It was love at first sight and they quickly married on June 23, 1979, and started their family with the birth of their son, Harley in 1983, soon followed by their son, Carter in 1984. They enjoyed many adventures as a family, with Peppers Lake being a favorite spot.

Andy is survived by his wife of 44 years Marlys Larson, sons Harley (Samantha) Larson and Carter (Candice) Larson; as well he was a beloved granddad to Isabelle, Ivy, Lincoln, and Renin. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces/nephews, and numerous other relatives.
Andy is predeceased by his parents and sister Darlene Larson.

As per Andy’s request, there will be no service. Donations can be made in his name to The Canadian Diabetes Association or another charity of your choice.

Condolences

Shaun " Stomper" McLellan:

Shocked to hear of Andy's passing, he was taken way too soon.
I have lots of good memories working with Andy out at the Ram River Gas Plant , he and I were work partners for many years. No one worked harder then Andy even when he was not feeling well he would out work most guys. He wasn't one for small talk, and kept to himself most times.
But he enjoyed pulling pranks and having a good laugh from time to time.

Rest easy my friend
