Richard Allen Rempel
November 11, 1961-April 18, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we as a family have to announce the passing of Richard in the early afternoon of April 18 surrounded by family in the home he built.
Richard was the second born son in his family. He was born to Susan and Harry Rempel in Val Marie, Saskatchewan. Richard met his wife Susan in April of 1986 and they married in March of 1988. They raised their family in various areas of Alberta finally settling back in the Evergreen area in 2008 where Richard finally built their final family home with the help of his children. Richard spent many years working at the Westview Lodge in Rocky before moving onto one of his previous Employers, Stauffer Farms Feedlot where he remained for the rest of his working days.
Richard is survived by his wife Susan Rempel and their four children: Joseph (Lindsay), Brodie, Garret (Kayleigh), and Nova (Craig); along with his mother Susan and siblings: Gerry (Pat), Sandra (Mike), and Lloyd (Norma) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and in-laws who treated him as one of their own. He will forever be remembered by his favorite little people, his grandchildren: Helene, Cayman, Everett, Lincoln, Ellie, Thayne, Freya, and Casen.
He was predeceased by his father Harry Rempel and father-in-law Bernie Skaalerud as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life for Richard will be held in the style of one of his favorite past times CAMPING! It will be held at the family farm in Evergreen on May 20, 2023 at 4:30pm. (Please BYOB and Chair, we will have beef on a bun available)
