Eva Rose Virag passed away peacefully at Westview Lodge in Rocky Mountain House AB on July 11, 2021 at the age of 93.
Eva was widowed at a very young age, she played the role of both mother and father at a time when this was not common. Despite these struggles she always provided a loving and warm home for her son, Garry, daughter Karen, and always welcomed family and friends.
Eva had a long and successful career in the restaurant industry whether it be in SK or in AB. She made some wonderful friends and was a mentor to many. She was also actively involved with the CWL in Wakaw, SK. for many years.
She enjoyed many things in her life. One of her favorites was visiting with her parents, brothers,
sisters, their families and her son and daughter and their families.
Eva worked hard her whole life but did take time to travel throughout Western Canada, Ontario and 10 States. She always enjoyed her trips and always had a story or two to share.
Eva is lovingly remembered by son Garry (Lin), daughter Karen. Grandchildren Jason, Lynzi, Amber, Sandi (Paul). Great-grandchildren Trinity, Kris, Skyelar, Daulten.
Great -great grandchildren Mason, Dylan and Declan. Sister Ella and brothers Alphonse and Marcel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Steve, son Lyle, granddaughter Ashley, great granddaughter Sophie, parents Rose and Martin Muller, siblings Josephine, Louie, Edward and Andy.

Heaven gained an angel.

I met Eva when Karen lived in Agassiz, BC. I fell in love with her, her endearing smile and her laughter. Loved talking with her about cooking and life in general. Beautiful memories i will always cherish.
Karen your mom will always be by your side. I love you to pieces and my heart breaks for your sadness.
