Gladys Irene Evans Osborne
Gladys passed away on Monday May 3, 2021 in Edmonton, Alberta. She was born on July 28, 1934 on the family farm at South Fork, Prairie Creek, Alberta.
Gardening, fishing, berry picking in the bush, laying out subdivisions and roads, building houses, mom was never happier than when she was out in nature or had her hands in the dirt. She had such a green thumb, she could grow anything .
Gladys leaves behind her children: John, Lynne, Charlie, Elsie and Sam. Grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with her sisters Marjorie Love, Laura Nodeland and her lifelong friend and sister-in-law Edna Evans.
Gladys was predeceased by her parents Ethel and Casswallon Evans, brothers George, Eric, Victor, Clifford and Arthur Evans, sisters Lillian Gray and Annie Lea and her husband William (Bud) Osborne.
Many thanks to the staff, caregivers, nurses and Drs at Benevolence Care in Edmonton where mom resided in her last years.
Special thanks and much gratitude to Corinne Kachuk who cared for mom like she was family.
Gladys has been cremated and will be interred at Prairie Creek Cemetery at a later date.
