Obituary

Ryker Leonard Ramsay, born on January 21, 1984, in Red Deer Alberta, passed away on August 24, 2024, in Caroline Alberta. He was the beloved son of Judy Tichkowsky (deseased) and Gerald Ramsay (deceased), a devoted father to his son Ryland Ramsay, and a cherished brother to Ronnie Corrigan (Jim) and Destiny Ramsay; nephews: Jesse Ruttimann, Kody Corrigan, Patrick Corrigan, and William Ramsay.

Ryker's journey began in Red Deer before he moved to Lacombe with his family where he grew up alongside his two sisters. From an early age it was clear that Ryker had a passion for life - he loved cartoons and music while also showing signs of being a neat freak with just enough rough edges to keep things interesting.

As he matured into adulthood, Ryker found joy in mechanics and working on vehicles; however, nothing compared to the pride and joy he felt as a father. His love for his son knew no bounds as he dedicated himself to providing memories for young Ryland. Together they enjoyed countless activities including working on vehicles side by side – passing down valuable skills from one generation to the next – as well as sharing their love for nature through camping trips and fishing adventures.

In honoring Ryker’s memory there will be no formal funeral service held; instead those wishing to pay tribute are encouraged to make donations towards Ryland’s savings account. For further information regarding donations please contact Ricci Collier.

Ryker Leonard Ramsay will forever be remembered by all who knew him - not only for his unwavering dedication as a father but also for the warmth of his heart that touched so many lives along the way.
