In Memory Of

Donald 'Don' Calvin Osborne

Jun 15, 1949 - Apr 7, 2021

Due to COVID a private family service will be held.

Don Calvin Osborne

Born June 15/49, died April 7/21.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our brother, friend, cousin and uncle after a brave battle with heart complications.

Don has gone to join his mother (Adeline Georgelin), father (Ray Osborne) and brother (Bernie Osborne).

Don will always be remembered as a soul who wasn’t overly burdened with the trials of this world. He was a hard worker. He occupied his time doing many different jobs, including dozer operator for Keno Construction and Heavy Hauler driver in Ft. Mac Murray. He even tried his hand in the coal mines at Kaiser Coal in the Crow’s Nest Pass for a short while. He was very skilled at using a power saw. He and a buddy could lay tree down exactly in the spot in which it needed to fall. Gabler’s Forrest Products always had work for Don at the sawmill. He would lend a helping hand to anyone and was willing to put his back into whatever needed to be done.

Happy-go-lucky, Don was at his best around positive, energetic people. He wanted nothing more than to spend time with family and friends.

He could tell the most politically incorrect jokes, party up, laugh and throw the odd temper fit; but he was humble, always respectful, courteous, and responsible.

He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

Due to COVID a private family service will be held.
