Obituary

Osborne, Brian Elmer
1951-2023

Brian Elmer Osborne, of Eckville, Alberta, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2023, at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Center at the age of 72 years. He was born on April 11, 1951, to Adeline and Raymond Osborne in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.

Brian is survived by his sons: Tim and Mike; daughters: Michelle and Karen; 9 grandchildren: Brayden, Madison, Logan, Nicole, Sara, Lena, Ruby, Tristan, and Jacob; brothers: Terry, Wayne and Doug; sister: Lorraine; and countless nieces and nephews.

Brian is predeceased by his wife Susan Osborne; daughter Tracy Winegarden; grandson Tyler Winegarden; parents: Adeline and Raymond; and 2 brothers: Donny and Bernie.

An informal celebration of life will be held from the Hardendel Hall, on Saturday May 25, 2024 at 1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the ROAR Society of Rocky Mountain House.

Brian was the most gentle man I’ve ever known! His patients were like no one else I’ve ever met before too! Bean u are and will always be known to me as my dad! I’m sorry we didn’t see eye lots but we were both very stubborn about our beliefs. Bean it makes me so sad to see u depart but I know now your no longer suffering and your accompanied by my mom (Susan)my sister (Tracy) and my boy (Tyler) pleased take care of all of them. And until we meet again Brian (dad) love you and miss u dearly

Ken Standeven:

I meet Brian in 1985 and worked with him for several years. I always said “Ozzy doesn’t say a lot, but when he speaks we should listen for he shares his wisdom”. I always admired his adventurous “biker side” and enjoyed hearing and witnessed a few of his shenanigans. You will be missed my friend and always looked up too.
