Obituary

Our beloved mother, grandmother & sister passed away on May 5th, 2025, after a short fierce battle with Cancer at the age of 69 years.

Mary was born in Medicine Hat on November 13,1955 to Jeanie & Nick Welfl.

Mary was the heart & soul of our family & will be dearly missed.

Mary is survived by her 2 children, 6 beautiful grandchildren & 5 siblings.

Tanya (Steven) Paterson, Shae & Madison.
Dana (Corry) Flikinger, Hailey, Cassandra, Keely & Draven.
Judy (Terry) Poole, Patricia Fofonoff, Francis (Teryl) Welfl, Randy (Noreen) Welfl & Barb (Dale) Petite.

Mary is predeceased by her father Nicholas, mother Jeanie and her brother Donny (Ester).

A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held at Chapel of the Rocky Funeral Home on
Monday, May 12, 2025, at 1 pm. Inurnment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mary’s memory to Compassionate Care Hospice Society.
