Obituary

Buysen, Barb
1947-2022

After accepting her diagnosis in the spring, Barb Buysen slipped peacefully into the arms of her Saviour on November 2, 2022.

Barb leaves behind to mourn her loss her husband Bill/Wim of almost 50 years, her daughter Danielle (Erik) Hansen, her sons Ron (Chow) MacArthur, Murray (Karen) Buysen and grandchildren Bryce & Ella MacArthur, Justin (Paige), Lane & Paige Hansen and Deidre Buysen, Eric, Jonathan & Alexander Lennon- Kelly. Also mourning her loss is her sister Diana McCall and numerous other relatives and friends.

In addition to being a wife and mom who worked outside the home, Barb volunteered as a Girl Guide Leader and, most recently, as the President for Rocky Organization for Animal Rescue (R.O.A.R.). Barb loved animals and almost always had some lucky four-legged pet in her home whether hers or a foster.

Dear Bill and family, my sincere condolences on the loss of your beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother. Although Barbara and I only had the opportunity to meet a few times, Nova Scotia is a long way, it is my pleasure to recall our visit to your home in 1990 and Barbara‘a couple visits to Nova Scotia. Her warm smile and friendly manner will be my lasting memory. May your wonderful memories help you through this difficult time and in the future. God bless

Kelly Striker & family:

Bill and family
I am so sorry for your loss. Barb was an exceptional lady. She was also a great neighbor. She was always giving me gardening tips and sharing her enormous zuccinni that she grew. I will miss the chats we had. She is now pain free and in God's hands. Keep her close in your hearts and memories.

Noella:

Dearest Bill, Murray & Karen,
Deepest sympathy with the loss of a lovely wife and mom. The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart. Barb's bright, loving personality touched so many lives she will be dearly missed. Praise to our Lord she is in His loving hands for eternity. Wherever a beautiful soul has been there are always beautiful memories. May the light of heaven bring you comfort. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
