There will be a joint celebration of life and 90-year birthday celebration, open to family, friends and neighbors on August 7, 2021 at Chuck Lake. Start time will be 2 o'clock and a meal will be served at 6 o'clock.

Obituary

Parker, Earnest Clifford “Cliff”

1933 - 2021

Earnest Clifford Parker of Buck Lake passed away on July 8, 2021at the age of 88 years.

He was born at Minnihek, a.k.a. Buck Lake, Alberta on the

7th of June 1933 to parents, Nettie Dament and Lloyd Parker.

Cliff along with his siblings, grew up in a pioneer lifestyle of the family farm at Buck Lake.

He attended school at Buck Lake and Alder Flats, and went out to work at a young age, working the harvest fields of southern Alberta, to the oil fields of Alberta and northern B.C.

Cliff became serious about farming in 1964 after meeting his wife Jeannine McDonald, in Rocky Mountain House. They decided to move to his home quarter at Buck Lake, where he spent his remaining years doing what he loved most, farming.

Cliff is survived by his wife Jeannine, his daughter Heather (John Nielsen), his son Miles (Stephanie Robins), and his adopted daughter Renae Wilson. Also survived by his four grandsons, Spence and Noah Nielsen, Steele Parker and Lochlan Campbell. His brother Charles, sisters Hannah Foster and Nettie Hughes and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter Anetha and his parents Lloyd and Nettie Parker, brothers Dalton and Henry Parker and sister Muriel Benio.

Jeannie, We extend our sympathy to you, your children and grand-children , in the loss of of Cliff. He was such a good guy, and friendly to everyone he met. I'm sure you can all find comfort and laughter in your memories of him. (Maybe he is off dancing with Darlene, and they're just waiting for you and David!?)
