Obituary

Loretta Marie McNutt
May 1st, 1937- June 25th, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Loretta Marie McNutt. She was born in Saskatchewan to Rita and Howard McNutt, who had a family of five girls and five boys. When she was ten years old, her family moved to Rocky Mountain House, and she lived in the area until her passing. Loretta was a great cook, with homemade bread and cinnamon buns being her specialty; But she could make a meal out of anything. She loved to work outdoors, and always made difficult jobs look easy. She was predeceased by her parents, son Howard, and daughter Linda. She leaves to mourn her sister Alice, daughter Rita (Darren), and two sons Lyle and Austin (Jolene), along with many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made in Loretta’s name to the non-profit: Drive Happiness

You also taught me alot as a child, stuff I still use today, like putting dirt on a bee sting to get the stinger out that I have put to the test and also tafht my son, I remember Playing in the creek and all the animals around you at all times. Rest in Peace Loretta Ricci

Grant:

Auntie Loretta always made me feel so welcome in her home. I have such awesome memories of staying at the farm near Gull Lake and spending some time in Rocky and as I got older dropping in for quick visits in Drayton and Alder Flats. I haven’t seen Auntie for a long time but she was never too far from my thoughts.

My deepest condolences to all of you Rita, Lyle and Austin.
