Obituary

Leonard Mushka
January 8, 1933 – May 9, 2022
Leonard Mushka passed away peacefully May 9, 2022, at the age of 89, the longest living member of the family.
Leonard now joins his family above, parents, Fred and Zena Mushka, siblings Freddie, Edward, Lil (Steve) Zaetz, Irene (Ken) Martin, and John Mushka.
Lovingly remembered for his sense of humor, deep devotion, pranks, own terms, and love of teasing kids, is daughter Leona Kains (Dave Beaudoin), granddaughters Emerald Kains and Montana Kains-Beaudoin, nieces Jeannie Hounslow and Marilyn (Gary) Lange, and Brittany and Derek Lange.
Fifth child of a 1918 Alhambra area resident, Leonard stayed close to his family and roots throughout his life except for the last few years in a retirement facility in Ponoka. After going to school in Alhambra, he farmed on the family lands while being employed at CP Rail, Federal Grain/Alberta Wheat Pool (becoming manager) in Alhambra and other parts of Alberta and driving truck.
