In Loving Memory Of Trudy Reynolds
Trudy Reynolds, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on April 26th in Rocky Mountain House at the remarkable age of 101. She is survived by her loving children Ralph, Debbie and Pam. She is preceded in death by her beloved sons Art, Vern and husband Arthur, whom she shared a lifetime of love and companionship with.
Trudy's life was a testament to love and service. Her devotion to her family knew no bounds, and she showered them with affection and care throughout her life. Her love for gardening was evident in the vibrant blooms and fluttering butterflies that adorned her home, a reflection of her nurturing spirit.
Beyond her home, Trudy was a pillar of support in her community and an active member of her church. Her love for music was evident as she played the guitar with her husband, bringing joy to seniors in local care facilities with their heartfelt performances. Trudy's gentle spirit and compassionate nature touched everyone she encountered. She embraced people without judgment, offering acceptance and understanding to all.
Her skills in knitting and crochet were exceptional, creating beautiful pieces for premature infants in the local hospital, spreading warmth and comfort to those in need.
Trudy's professional journey included working at Pickerdy’s in Edmonton as a young woman and dedicated years at Coney’s Store and Alpine Drug Store in Rocky Mountain House. In her leisure time Trudy found joy in the company of her dear friends from the tea cup and saucer club. A gathering of laughter, friendship and shared stories that spanned decades.
Trudy leaves behind a rich legacy of love and compassion with five children, ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren who will forever honor her memory. Her spirit of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A service to honor and celebrate Trudy's remarkable life will be held at the Chapel of the Rocky Funeral Home on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM, bringing together family and friends to share cherished memories, and bid farewell to a beloved soul whose light will forever shine in our hearts.

Our connection with Trudy was first through Art in his work with Forestry but they soon became more than work associates. You're dad's carvings are so life like - a real artist. Trudy and Art were a couple to admire. Condolences on your loss and know that they both were loved and appreciated by so, so many.
