It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert ‘Bob’ M. McKenzie on October 30, 2024, at the age of 77 years of age. He was born in Calgary, Alberta on July 5, 1947. He spent his earlier life in the oil patch then went on to work for Rocky Wood Preserves until he retired at the age of 68 years. His favorite thing to do was golfing with family and friends.
He is survived by his son Jesse (Jackie) of Sylvan Lake, Alberta; his daughter Tina (Ken) of Caroline, Alberta; brother Allan (Sherry) of Mirror, Alberta; sister Jean Vittitoe of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren Angie, Chantel, Sonny & Dalton; great grandchildren Jazmyn, Cyrus, Ryker, Serena, and Shaylynn; various nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Sylvia & John McKenzie of St. Paul, Alberta; brothers: Charlie of St. Paul, Alberta and John of Rocky Mountain House; Ex-wife and mother of his children Adele Cochrane of Sylvan Lake, Alberta.
There will be no service at this time.

Greetings and belated condolences toTina,Ken, and all of Bob's family,we have just recently heard of Bob's passing. He appears to be enjoying his golf game in the picture, and hopefilly he is enjoying the golf greens in his new frontier now. I remember him real well form the old times when his family lived in Springbank and also north of Stettler. Cherish all the memories and think about him often and God bless you all.

I didn't know your dad or your grandpa very long, but he was a really good man. He was funny and kind grumpy. You reminded me of my dad with his grumpiness and scowling look? I will forever cherish memories I have with him and sending your whole cherish memories my deepest deepest condolences. I'm so sorry for your loss. May you take this healing process one day at a time and remember all the good times you had with him. grandpa Bob live on our hearts and memories forever.
