Courvoisier, Kevin Charles
1983-2023
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the unexpected passing of Kevin Charles Courvoisier on February 13, 2023, at the age of 39.
Anyone who knew Kev knew that he was a gentle soul full of love, happiness, and spirit. He had the best and most contagious laugh.
Kevin moved to Alberta as a young teenager and started his own family and career here in Rocky Mountain House. Kevin chose welding as his craft, having been born with it in his blood. He fired up Courvoisier Industries and hit the road. Kev loved the camaraderie of the industry and embraced the Alberta way.
Kevin lived a full life and always faced it at full throttle. A life of love, light, pain, and also sorrow. He felt and welcomed the beauty life had to offer and learned and grew during the hard moments. This is all such a true testament to his strength and courage to continuously get up and try again. His is a strength we’ll forever admire. He truly saw the best and worst life had to offer and no matter what was going on or how he was feeling, he always smiled and gave the greatest hugs.
Kevin was predeceased by his mother, Diane Ball, and is once again in her loving arms.
Kevin leaves to mourn his passing, his huge loving family. He also leaves behind his beautiful daughter Lexi, who was his whole world. She was his shadow, his partner in crime, his muse, and they spent countless hours laughing, goofing, crafting and making the best forts.
Kevin fought several health battles for many years and his body said the time has come for eternal rest. We’re so thankful for the time we all had with him and for the memories and love he left us with.
May your playful soul shine on.
A Celebration of Life for Kevin will be held at the Chapel of the Rocky Funeral Home, Rocky Mountain House, on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is true that Kevin was a very gentle soul. I pray that he is at peace now, in the grace of our Lord. I had seen Kevin just days prior and he spoke of hoping to get into a pain management plan. Though he’s way too young to be leaving us, he is no longer in pain. God rest his soul.
