In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that donations be made in Kelcy’s honour to STARS Air Ambulance, an organization she held close to her heart.
It is with deep sad ness we say goodbye to a dear friend, a wonderful coworker, a loving mom, and a doting grandma.
Kelcy was a strong, tough woman who never backed down from life’s challenges.
She loved her grand- children unconditionally, and it brought great joy to see how much she cared for them. Kelcy enjoyed playing slo-pitch, having a nice campfire on clear nights and collecting rocks from absolutely all of the places she visited. Many will miss Kelcy and her infectious laughter, and those who knew her will remember her fondly.
Kelcy was born in Cold Lake on March 22, 1969, to her parents Violet and Mertin Rewega. She was the youngest of three siblings.
She is predeceased by her father, Mertin, and mother, Violet.
Kelcy leaves behind a family who will forever hold her in their hearts: her daughter Shianne (Nic) Van’t Bosch, her son Bradley (Allanah) Kraychy, her grandchildren Wrenn and Wade Van’t Bosch, her brothers Dale (Tami) Rewega and Larry Rewega, her niece Amber Rewega and her daughter Milla, her nephew Chris Rewega and his son Ryland and her cat Osbourne.
A wide circle of friends and family will forever cherish her memory.
As we reflect on Kelcy’s life, we find solace in the knowledge that her legacy of love, resilience and the joy she brought to others will continue to inspire us all. She may be physically absent, but her spirit remains alive in our hearts, an enduring reminder of the beauty of a life well-lived.
A Come and Go celebrating Kelcy’s life will be held from the Rocky Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday September 13, 2023, from 1-3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that donations be made in Kelcy’s honour to STARS Air Ambulance, an organization she held close to her heart.

Dear Shianne, Bradley, Dale, Larry and families,
I am very saddened that my beautiful cousin Kelcy has joined the Angels. Sadly life didn’t go as planned for Kelcy. But she valiantly accepted how her life had changed. Kelcy will make the perfect smiling Angel, happy to be joining all her loved ones in Heaven.
Shianne, you really stepped up to the plate for your Mom. Always being there for her and loving her unconditionally. You really are the dream daughter that every Mom wishes for.
Sincere sympathy to you all. No matter the age or the circumstances we are never ready to face such a loss.
Kelcy is gone but not forgotten.

Larry Holkestad:
To Shianne, Bradley, Dale, Larry and all of your families. I was very shocked to hear of Kelcy's sudden passing at such a young age. I send you my sincere condolences and prayers during this difficult time for all. Kelcy was such a loving and caring person that I got to know back in the early 90's, while we both played slowpitch for and on muliple teams together. from that time we became longtime friends for over 30+ years. Even though I had not seen her much the last couple of years due to COVID, we have mutual friends who kept me updated on how she was doing in her life. A good friend gone too soon is a tragedy. What would have been worse though, is to have never met Kelcy at all. I am so grateful to have been her friend during her life and will continue to be her friend in death. So finally to the families I hope that you keep all your fond memories you have of your Mom, Grandma, sister, aunt, and most of all friend, in which she had lots of and keep them close to your heart moving forward. Stay strong. Kelcy you are now at peace and you will truly be missed by everybody that you had in your life. Goodbye my friend. God Bless.
Shirley Denny (Buchan):
My heart goes out to all of the family. I have lots of fun memories of our gatherings in Pierceland when we were all kids.
Art Clayton:
Surprised and saddened by the passing of Kelcy. My condolences to all.
Gary Kesenheimer :
Please accept my condolences on your loss. Kelcy was my friend many years ago, but we lost touch over time.
They say that only the good die young, so Kelcy must have been as a good a person later in life as she was when I knew her.
Take care of yourself in her memory, as I am sure she would want you to remember the good times and not dwell on the sorrow.
Amanda Barrett:
