Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kalvin Jason Bendle October 20,
2025.
He was born May 16,1973, to Keith and Kathy Bendle. He grew up in Rocky Mountain
House, Alberta where he spent most of his life. He graduated from Will Sinclair High School in 1992. Later he attended College for Marketing in Edmonton. He grew up with a big family of aunts, uncles and cousins, who he considered more like extra parents and siblings. He had a great love of the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping. He loved going to the movies with his friends, especially with his mom Kathy. He loved hockey, his favorite team being the Philadelphia Flyers. The last few years if there was a hockey game on you knew he would be out at Dad's place watching it with him. He had a special place in his heart for his Nieces who he loved spending time with. They always talk about sitting in the back of “Unkin's truck” with the little side seats. Always going on an adventure with “Unkin”, as the girls called him. He was a great collector of various memorabilia over his years, as well as his love of everything Sasquatch.
Kal had a very unique sense of humor , often laced with a good tinge of sarcasm. His friend Kirk said, " He had a humor that was so tailored to his personality. That he had a side of him that was so very practical and logically based. If he felt a certain way , there wasn't much you could do to sway his mind. Such a rich personality."
He was a very private person. He enjoyed pastimes of tying flies, shooting his gun, spending time with his beloved dogs Copper and Peanut.
There was only one Kal, he was one of a kind. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his father Keith, brother Kevin (Cassandra); nieces Kimberly (Ty), Teresa (Jay) and great nephews Teetus, Ryder and great niece Kathy.
He also leaves behind his lifelong friends Kirk, Tim and Don, who were a big part of his life.
He is predeceased by his mother Kathy, grandparents, numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
As per his wishes, no service will be held.
Donations can be made in his name in lieu of flowers to
Heart & Stroke Foundation or Rocky Fish & Game Association
