Obituary

Our dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends on Feb 28, 2025, in Red Deer Hospital. He fought one hell of a fight for many years; anyone who knew him respected and admired him.

Bobby was born in Red Deer, AB on Aug 17, 1973, to loving parents Rita and John. He lived his whole life in the Evergreen, Stauffer area on the Senkyr family farm. Bob met the love of his life Savonn in 1994, and they were married Dec. 24, 2002.

Bob and Savonn had 5 beautiful children, Ashton, Damian (Mother Amber Vickers), Toryn, Keira, and Rayne. He never had a problem making many friends as he was a very fun-loving guy with a wonderful sense of humor. Bobby’s love for life and his family was just as strong as his love and passion for his favourite sport baseball. He played in the Leslieville slo-pitch league for 30+years and coached his kids’ teams in the kids league since they were old enough to play. He held a special place for each and every child he coached, and they all loved him. Bobby will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Savonn Senkyr; 5 children: Ashton (Tyler), Damian (Mother Amber Vickers) Toryn, Kiera (Dawson), and Rayne; 5 grandchildren Johny, P.J., Bobby, Luca, June; Parents John (Jane) Senkyr, Rita (Craig) Clements; Sister Jennifer (Mike) Avramovich as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.

The service will be held at Evergreen Hall on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Contributions can be made to Stars Air Ambulance in memory of our beloved Bob, in lieu of flowers.
