Peggy Lynne Lane passed away tragically and unexpectedly on January 28, 2026.
Peggy was the fourth of six children born to Lee and Carol Lane on July 4, 1959, in Edmonton, Alberta. In her early adult years, she spent a short time in Calgary before returning to Edmonton. In 1987, she made her home in Rocky Mountain House. Approximately 20 years ago, Peggy moved to the O’Chiese area, where she worked at Head Start and formed many lasting friendships. She will be fondly remembered by the close friends she made during her time living and working there.
She is survived by her mother, Carol Lane; her brother, Leander K. Lane (Debbie Tonner); her sisters, Kathy (Michael) Barker, Sheryol Lane, Melanie Lane, and Leaetta Lane (Rufus Rosery); her daughters, Raelee Lane, Jesse (Jenna) Morgan, and Eddyrae Kramer; her grandchildren Autumn, Zachary, Seth, Zander, Kio, Huxley and Winston. She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Leander (Lee) Lane; her nephew, Eagleman (Tank) Lane; and her partner, Marcel Gopher.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring, with interment to follow at Northern Lights Cemetery.
