Jun 3, 1953 - Sep 15, 2025
Born June 3rd, 1953 in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec
Passed away September 15th, 2025 in Rimby, Alberta
Debby is survived by: Her husband Peter Baker, her brothers David Thompson (Lora), Stewart Thompson (Connie), and her sisters Joanne Shepard, Brenda Thompson, and her many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Patricia Thompson, and her brother Bruce Thompson.
Debby had a passion for many arts and crafts that she was extremely gifted at. Many of her friends and family were blessed to be gifted one of her many crafts. Many of them decorated her home, but not as much as her art supplies did.
Debby worked many jobs in Rocky Mountain House but she found her true calling at Northern Metallic where her coworkers became true friends that she considered family. Her passion for her work made it difficult for her to retire. She loved her job and the friends she worked with, as she worked there for over 25 years. Debby would even show up to work during her chemo treatments.
Debby bravely battled cancer for many years of her life. Her positive attitude towards life would have fooled anyone. She will be greatly missed.
