A small gathering of close family and friends will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1:00 Pm at the Andersen Farm.

1953 ~ 2019
It is with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Dale Irwin Andersen on October 2, 2019 in Red Deer, Alberta. Dale was born in Yellowknife, NWT on May 21, 1953 to Catherine and Gunner Andersen. He grew into a celebrated boxer who competed worldwide. His record includes the 1972 Olympics in Munich, Germany, 1974 Commonwealth Games in New Zealand, Pan Am games in Columbia and numerous medals from multiple national tournaments. Aside from his boxing career, Dale spent his working years as a driller in the Alberta Oil patch.
He is survived by his children: Bonnie and Jesse;brothers Keith and Bruce.
Dale was predeceased by his parents Catherine and Gunner Andersen in 2004.
