In Loving Memory of
Daniel (Danny) Wade Shields
July 25th, 1987 - October 12, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel (Danny) Wade Shields of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, on October 12, 2026, at the age of 39.

Danny was truly one of a kind. With his charismatic personality, charming ways with the ladies, and unforgettable sense of humour, he had a special gift for making those around him smile. Whether he was cracking a joke, sharing a laugh, or simply being himself, Danny had a way of bringing laughter and joy to any room.

One of Danny's greatest passions was music, especially shredding on his guitar. His love for music was just another part of what made him who he was. He lived with a personality that was impossible to forget, leaving behind memories filled with laughter, love, and moments that will forever be cherished.

Danny leaves behind his three children: Bentley, Kali, and Stockton; his mother, Terry Shields (Dale Ames), and father, Earl Shields; his siblings: Deanne Shields and Logan Guenthier; his step-siblings: Mike Zuberbier, Tyrell Hewitt, Shantana Hewitt, Ryan Hewitt, Sheldon Ames, Jesse Aines, and Hayley Ames; his grandmother Marie Guenthier; along with many aunts and uncles, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Danny was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Norman Guenthier; his paternal grandmother, Pat Liddel; and his stepsister, Jennifer Zuberbier.

Although his time with us was far too short, the laughter he brought, the memories he created, and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten. Keep shredding those strings, Danny.
