Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve Molnar of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, who passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at the age of 77, surrounded by his loved ones.

Steve was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Phyllis; his children, Amanda (Peter), Tracy (Dennis), Michael (Katie), and Melody (Gary); and his cherished grandsons, Lex, Seth, Ethan, and Charlie. He is also survived by his sisters, Kay, Gay, Melba (Ron), and Teresa and his brother-in-law, Keith, along with many extended family members and friends. Steve was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Lucy Molnar, as well as his brothers-in-laws, Larry and Paul.

Steve grew up in Caroline, Alberta, where he developed an appreciation for the outdoors and the value of hard work that guided him throughout his life. Steve enjoyed fishing, camping, and mechanics. He found great joy in spending time outdoors and working with his hands.
Known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and steady presence, Steve was always willing to lend a helping hand or share a story. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and generosity that will be carried on by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Caroline Complex Hub on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Steve will be missed and remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
