In Loving Memory of Edward Wandler
April 2, 1947 – September 18, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Dad and husband, Edward Philip Wandler, on September 18, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, on April 2, 1947, to Philip and Agnes Wandler. Grew up in Wilkie, Sask with brothers and sisters; Helen (Dan) Joan (Rob) Joe+ (Betty) Phil (Leanne +) Chris (Brenda) & Wendy (Diane). In 2017, Dad eventually found his home in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, A community he proudly called home and where he built a life filled with family, friendships, hard work, and countless memories.

Dad was a proud man when it came to his family, and nothing meant more to him than the people he loved. He gave so much of himself to his family and leaves behind a lifetime of memories, stories, laughter, and lessons that will stay with us forever.

Dad was beyond blessed to have met his wife in 2017, Maneth, whose love, devotion, and unwavering care meant more than words can express. She loved him deeply and cared for his every need without hesitation. She stood faithfully by his side, giving him comfort, strength, and love. We will forever be grateful that Dad found such a special person to share his life with.

During Dad’s final days, his family gathered around his bedside, sharing memories and stories of a life well lived. We laughed, we cried, and we remembered the many moments that made Dad who he was. So many of those memories centered around his beloved vacuum shop, Xstreme Vacuums, where he poured every ounce of his energy, time, and pride. The shop was a huge part of his life and gave us countless stories and laughable moments that we will continue to share for generations.
Dad was a man who could leave an impression without saying much. His quiet strength, determination, and love for his family will remain a part of each of us.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Maneth; his children, Colleen (Peter), Carson (Jess), Contessa (Mike), Corinna (Matt), Natassja (Kody), and Shalayna (Andrew); his grandchildren, Tianna, Kelsey, Zoey, Paige, Tisha, Brooklyn (Levi), Kayden (Carla), Landon (Bryn), Jace, Jaxin, Ryder Kayley, Avalyn, and Malaya; and his great-grandchildren, Benson, Aliah, Forrest & Lilly, whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind many cherished friends and people near and far who have touched his life in many ways.

Our hearts are broken, and there is an emptiness that no one will ever be able to replace. Yet, in the midst of our grief, we find comfort in knowing that Dad’s love will continue to surround us.

We will see him in the memories we share, hear him in the stories we tell, and carry his love with us every day.

Dad, we know you will continue to look over us and lend us the quiet strength we need through this difficult time. You will forever be a part of our family, and the love you gave us will never leave.

You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Dad. Forever Mahal.
