There will not be a public memorial service, but Glen and Peggy would welcome meeting for a double double and to share memories of Geordie that we will cherish forever.
With tremendous sadness, we announce the passing of Geordie Owen on January 15, 2026. Born on January 4,1986 in Rocky Mountain House.
He was the loving son of Glen and Peggy Owen, dear brother to Jessica and Patrick Owen and cherished uncle to Monty & Lily.
Geordie loved action movies, his double doubles from Tim Hortons, adding to his extensive hoodie collection (he was a big fan of online shopping) and his occasional hunting trips with his good friend Mike.
Some of his favorite moments were adventures with Mom, cruising with his Spina Bifida
friends to the Caribbean, checking out all the shows at the Edmonton Fringe Festival and
tasting all the delicious street foods.
Geordie is survived by Glen, Peggy, Jessica and Patrick Owen as well as many friends and extended family members from all over Canada. We will all miss him dearly.
There will not be a public memorial service, but Glen and Peggy would welcome meeting for a double double and to share memories of Geordie that we will cherish forever.

I remember Geordies imagination when are mom and me where out in Rocky we went to a movie, when we got home we watched the movie again with imaginary movie popcorn and soda.
