Obituary

Ronald Paul Huhn

Ron was born August 22, 1965, and passed away suddenly Friday July 10, 2026, in Rocky Mountain House.

In his early years Ron built a respected career as a steamfitter/pipefitter, running many jobs across Alberta and British Columbia. His skill, leadership, and work ethic earned him the trust of crews wherever he went. Later, Ron found the work he loved the most, driving semi-trucks, hauling oilfield fluid, where he felt a sense of pride and purpose that stayed with him throughout his life.

Ron was the happiest when he was outdoors. He loved camping, fishing, quadding and of course his pea patch that he took great pride in.

Ron is survived by his wife and soulmate Ruth along with numerous family and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.

I stopped by your house unannounced and unexpected several years ago, looking for Ron who I hadn’t seen in years..(trying to find info to contact Peter) ..Ronnie the boy I remember was now Ron the man.. you both were so kind to me inviting me in and making this uninvited stranger feel welcome..Ruth,..I don’t know you but instantly I could tell that you are good person..I could feel the love in your home and I could see how much you and Ron loved each other..Ron even telling me your praises..the way he looked at you and how happy he was said it all..I hope you find comfort in this memory and peace in your heart
