It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that I announce the passing of Reginald (Reg) David Epp of Caroline, Alberta who passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on April 29th, 2026 at the age of 65, with Lisa by his side.
Reg was born at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on February 21, 1961. He was raised in the Caroline and Rocky Mountain House areas, along with his younger sister Angela, by their Father Gustav (Gus) Epp.
Reg worked in the trucking and forestry industries; he also worked as a heavy equipment operator throughout his life.
Reg enjoyed fixing up vehicles, campfires and travelling. He loved just jumping in his vehicle and heading up the Forestry Trunk Road, or any road less traveled, and just enjoy the scenery. One of his favorite memories was when He and his wife Lisa went to Mexico. It was his first time out of Canada, and he enjoyed the different culture and scenery. Before he became ill he had renewed his passport and was planning to take an Alaskan cruise.
Reg was a very kind man and a devoted friend. Always willing to help out a friend or neighbor with a ride somewhere or to help fix something.
Reg will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Reg was predeceased by his father Gus Epp in 2014, Sister Angela in 1980, Mother-in-law Sharon Delorme in 2018 and Father-in-law Noel Delorme in 2023. Left to mourn Reg is Lisa and many Friends.
When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand that an Angel came and called my name and took me by the hand.
The angel said my place was ready, in Heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
But when I walked through Heaven's Gates, I felt so much at home, for God looked down, smiled at me, and told me, "Welcome home." So, when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.
