Delores Seitz passed away February 20,2026, in Rocky Mountain House at the age of 81 years.
Delores was born on May 22, 1944 to parents Amelia and Willy Krauss in Medicine Hat.
In 1966, Delores married her sweetheart Leslie “Les” Seitz. She lived a very full life, becoming a mom, to their two sons, working on the farm, being a teachers aid and volunteering at the boys’ school, watching and cheering on their sports, a bookkeeper, and worked at the Bay (enjoying the shopping advantages). In the community, Delores volunteered, did Census Work, donated blood, helped with elections, even supporting the PC candidate’s campaign. Delores and Les, travelled extensively sometimes on their own and then with the boys.
She is survived by her husband Les; two sons Trevor (Aniece) and Shawn (Kim); two granddaughters Summer and Portia; one brother Terry (Lorie) Krauss; and one sister-in-law Marg Seitz.
Delores was predeceased by her parents Amelia and Willy Krauss, her father and mother-in-law Clara and Dave Seitz; and brother-in-law Bruce Seitz.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Delores’ life will be held from the Rocky Funeral Home, 4804 48 St Rocky Mountain House on Saturday March 14, 2026, at 1 pm, with Celebrant Laurie Wade officiating.
Donations may be made in Delores’s name to the Alzheimer Society.
